Did You Know…

Listening to music and singing is good for your health. A variety of studies reported in the LA Times Health section (4/24/07) suggest music and song can to improve your mood, reduce stress, boost your immune system, improve your posture and balance, and result in fewer doctor visits and less use of prescription medication. The theory behind these findings is that music produces natural feel-good hormones such as endorphins, dopamine , and oxytocin, the hormone prevalent in mother's of newborns and couples gazing romantically into each other's eyes.
