What The Doctor Didn't Tell Me

I had headaches all my life. Once or twice a week for 20 years I would go to bed at 6 P.M. with a headache. I knew the problem had something to do with my eyes but both my primary care doctor and ophthalmologist never had any helpful suggestions.

What I Discovered

I had thick glasses. As soon as I had my first cataract surgury and therefore had to start wearing a contact lens in the other eye, I have not had a headache. It has now been 10 years. I am convinced that somehow the strain to see thru the glasses was sapping my strength and making me very tired and becoming tired early in the day was leading to the headaches.
